Currently working at the Institute of European Studies, Jagiellonian University, Kraków and is at present the visiting researcher at the Centre for European Studies, Lund University, Sweden. She holds a PhD in Political Science from the Jagiellonian University, and her doctoral thesis (2007) concerned the issues of relations between Poland and Israel after World War II. Her academic interests include processes of collective identity formation in the context of EU enlargement, the European Union as an actor in international relations, contemporary Polish foreign policy.

Director of Association for International Affairs in Prague. She has degrees in Linguistics (Katowice), International Relations (Krakow) and European Studies (Bonn). After study periods abroad (Munich and Prague), she moved to Brussels to take up a post in the Secretariat General of the Council of the EU. Her last assignment was within the Crisis Management and Planning Directorate. She is interested in the EU external relations and political communication. Participated in the 5th edition of the Visegrad Summer School, currently project partner.

Central European analyst at the Warsaw-based Center for Eastern Studies. Author of numerous analyses on foreign and domestic policy of the Czech Republic and Slovakia. His expertise covers political scene in both countries, energy security and regional cooperation in Central Europe. He is also a member of the Polish-Czech/Czech-Polish analytical platform. Graduated in Political Science and Central European Studies from University of Warsaw. Before joining Center for Eastern Studies he worked as a journalist at Polish Radio in Warsaw.

Enrolled at the Karl-Franzens-University (KFU) Graz in October 1985 and graduated from Stanford Law School (J.S.M) in 1995 and from KFU Graz as Dr. iur. in 1997. Then he joined the office of the Austrian Federal Minister for Education and Cultural Affairs as personal adviser responsible for international relations, adult education and cultural affairs. In 09/2000 he became head of the educational division in 09/2001 director of KulturKontakt Austria, an NGO working with reform countries in East and South East Europe in die fields of education and culture.
