Jakub Kulhánek

Jakub Kulhánek

A chief adviser to the Deputy Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies, Parliament of the Czech Republic. A Research Fellow at Association for International Affairs Research Center. Previously, he has worked for the Center for European Policy Analysis and Eurasian Strategy Project. He holds an MA in Eurasian Studies from the E. A. Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University, Washington DC, and a BA in International Studies from Charles University in Prague. His regional focus is on the post-Soviet space and Russia. His primary area of interest is Russia’s policy towards NATO and the EU. He has published extensively on post-Soviet affairs, among others, in the Harvard International Review, Problems of Post-Communism, Royal United Services Institute (RUSI) journal, The Moscow Times and on the Atlantic Council and Foreign Policy Magazine websites.

Adam Daniel Rotfeld

PhD dissertation on the right of self-determination of peoples in modern international law at the Jagiellonian University, Krakow (1969). Habilitation on European Security System in Statu Nascendi; in 2001 appointed Professor at the Warsaw University by the President of Poland. From July 1991 to June 2002 Director of Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI); in 1992 appointed as Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office to elaborate the settlement of the conflict in the Trans-Dniester region of Moldova. From 2000 member of the President’s National Security Council; Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Polish government from January until October 2005. Author of numerous books, monographs and articles.

Péter Talás

 Holds PhD in political sciences, Head of Center for Strategic and Defense Studies, Budapest. From 1993 commentator on international security in several Hungarian newspapers. 1993-1995 correspondent of Gazeta Wyborcza, 1993-1995 editor of “Beszélő” (Hungarian political weekly). 1994-2001 editor and reporter of Hungarian Television.
