Editor in chief of Magyar Lettre Internationale, Hungarian edition of the European cultural quarterly since 1995, one of editors since 1991, chair of the Hungarian National Committee of the European Cultural Foundation since 1998, one of the coordinators of the cooperation of the leading daily newspapers of the Visegrad countries in editing a common Central European Supplement from 1994 on. In these fields organized many European and regional events, like: Revolutions and Restaurations (1992), Intellectuals between Morals and Politics (1996), Samizdat (2000) and Joining the Club: The Central-European countries in the period of the referenda (2003) etc. Éva Karádi has a PhD in Philosophy and teaches philosophy since 1969 at the Eotvos University Budapest.

Jakub Majmurek (1982) – film and art critic, political columnist and philosopher. Co-author of many book concerning movies (Story of Sin. Surrealism in Polish cinema) and social and political philosophy (L’idée du communisme II). He writes mainly for Dziennik Opinii, liberal on-line journal of opinion.

Andrei Pleșu
Born in Bucharest, he studied Art History at the National University of Arts in Bucharest, where he taught from 1980 to 1982. Between 1991 and 1997 he was Professor of Philosophy of Religion at the Department of Philosophy, University of Bucharest. After the fall of the communist regime he was appointed Minister of Culture (1989-1991) and Minister of Foreign Affairs (1997-1999). He held several other important public positions, such as: Member of the National Council for the Study of the Securitate Archives, Presidential Adviser on International Affairs, or Director of the Institute of History of Religion of the Romanian Academy. In 1994 he founded the New Europe College - Institute for Advanced Study in Bucharest, and was its first Rector until 2014. He is currently the President of the New Europe Foundation. He founded the cultural magazine Dilema Veche and is very active in contributing to this and other journals. The topics of his books range from art history, philosophy, and history of religion to theology and ethics, and include: Minima moralia, On Angels: Exposition for a Post-Modern World, Parabolele lui Iisus. Czesław Porębski
Philosopher and ethicist; professor at the Cracow University of Economics, Jagiellonian University, Tischner European University in Krakow and International Academy of Philosophy in Liechtenstein. He has spent some time at the Grand Valley State University and at the University of Vienna. He has lectured in Geneva, Freiburg, Tilburg, Vienna, Graz, Uppsala and Stockholm.
Goran Rosenberg
Born in Sweden. Writer and journalist. Graduated in 1970 from University of Stockholm, where he studied mathematics, philosophy, political science and journalism. Since 1970 works as a journalist and correspondent for major Swedish newspapers and Swedish Television. Regular columnist and essayist of the Swedish daily newspaper Dagens
Nyheter. PhD at the University of Gothenburg. In 1990 founded the Swedish monthly magazine of essays and opinions, Moderna Tider. Among his books are: An essay on the American idea, Norstedts 1991 and A personal history of Zionism, Messianism and the State of Israel, Bonniers 1996. His essays were translated and published in Neue Züricher Zeitung, Lettre Internationale, Daedalus and New Perspectives Quarterly and others. Works also as documentalist: The Black City with the White House (Golden Nymph award for best news documentary in 1990).
Petr Vágner
Graduated from the Department of Philosophy and History of the Charles University in Prague. Worked in the Czechoslovak and later the Czech Academy of Science and conducted research in history of science. He worked in Embassy of the Czech Republic in Moscow (1995-1999), , Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic in Department of Central Europe (1999-2005) and Embassy of the Czech Republic in Kyiv (2005-2009). Currently executive director of the Visegrad Fund.
Gottfried Wagner
Born 1950 in Kitzbühel, Austria; studied philosophy and literature in Vienna; worked as a teacher, university lecturer and civil servant in the ministry of education. In the 1990s was a director of KulturKontakt Austria: cultural and educational cooperation with Central, Eastern and South-eastern Europe. From 2002 to 2009 Gottfried was director of the European Cultural Foundation in Amsterdam. Currently working in the ministry for education, arts and culture, Vienna: as a special envoy for international cultural-political projects. Jacek Woźniakowski
Professor of history of art. Uniwersytet Jagielloński and Katolicki Uniwersytet Lubelski. He also was the chairman of the board of Villa Decius Association, now its Honorary President. He cooperated with Tygodnik Powszechny, was chief editor of Znak and chief editor of publishing house Znak. 1989 he took part in the Round Table negotiations. 1990-1991 he was mayor of the of city Kraków. Author of dozens of books: "Zapiski kanadyjskie", "Góry niewzruszone" and articles, interpreter of Bennett and Greene. For special merits for France in field of culture awarded with Croix de la Légion d'Honneur.
