In search of common cultural heritage - Cruise in Dragon Boat

In the second part of the Sunday we needed strong muscles and sense for teamwork. Why? Because we tried to row dragon boat on Wisla river. We had to count and row all together in the same time, what is the most important thing for Dragon boat rowing. A lot of fun, sunny weather, interesting city legends, Dragon boat rowing and of course, smiling VSS students.

Legends of Sunday trip wasn´t for VSS students only ordinary city tour trip. We had a great opportunity to recognize many dark stories of the past centuries in Krakow. What is the function of the Tower Thieves? Who was Eleonora Lubomirska and bloody Mayor Czeczotka? Interesting stories about Krakow´s legends formed first part of Krakow Pitaval Trip.

Fun, knowledge, barbecue. That is how we could describe the Friday evening. Groups of different nationalities presented what is worth seeing in their homeland, who are the important personalities in fields of culture, politics or science, what are the typical dishes and drinks one should taste and what folk songs, dance and traditions have been handed down through generations in their country.
