He is an author of nearly 50 articles and scientific publications in the field of constitutional, international, European and human rights law.

Michal is an Assistant Professor at the Metropolitan University Prague. He is also a board member of a think tank Eurothink (Skopje, North Macedonia). He has been involved in dialogue facilitation processes in the SEE region, namely between Bulgaria and North Macedonia. He obtained his doctorate in 2017. Previously he was associated with the Institute for European Policy (IEP), Berlin and EUROPEUM, Prague. He underwent research fellowships at University of Konstanz and University of Vienna, South East European University (MK).

As head of Culture at the Belgian Creative Europe Desk, she advised cultural and creative actors on the EU funding opportunities and on designing effective cooperation projects. She also worked at the Centre for Fine Arts - BOZAR as Sr Advisor in cultural cooperation and diplomacy. She is currently coordinating the European project United Fashion at MAD – Brussels platform for Fashion and Design.

Tenured Associate Professor at the Department of History and Political and International Studies, University of Porto (Portugal), coordinator at the Instituto de História Contemporânea of the Universidade Nova de Lisboa of a research thematic line on "Connected Histories: State-Building, Social Movements and Political Economy". Associate researcher at the Centre d'Estudis sobre Dictadures i Democracies (Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona).

Head of the Literary Office and coordinator of international literary programs at the Villa Decius Association in Krakow and Head of the Centre of Artistic Residencies at the Institute of Culture Villa Decius. Coordinator of residencies for about 350 writers, translators and artists from over 35 countries. Co-founder and secretary of the international literary magazine  RADAR (2010-2013), coordinator of the 5th Cracow Literary Days (2011) and curator of over 65 literary events.
