A laureate of high awards in violin and chamber ensembles competitions, including: the József Szigeti International Violin and Viola Competition in Budapest (September 2012), the International Henryk Wieniawski Violin Competition in Poznań (2011), the International Tadeusz Wroński Solo Violin Competition (2020), and the Stanisław Moniuszko International Competition of Polish Music in the chamber ensembles category, in duet with Marcin Koziak (2021).
She graduated from the class of Professor Kaja Danczowska at the Krzysztof Penderecki Academy of Music in Kraków, and in 2022, she obtained a Doctor of Arts degree.
Aleksandra Kuls performed as a soloist with leading orchestras not only in many cities across Poland but also in the USA, Italy, France, Spain (with orchestras Real Filharmonia de Galicia and Orquesta Sinfónica de Navarra), Deutch (with Zielona Góra Philharmonic Orchestra), Brazil (with Orquestra Sinfonica do Paraná), Türkiye (with Istanbul Devlet Senfoni Orkestrası), Hungary (with Duna Symphony Orchestra), Ukraine (with Lviv Philharmonic Orchestra), China (with China Philharmonic Orchestra). She took part in international festivals: Chopin and His Europe (2012-2015), Polish Culture Festival in Pekin (2014), Krzysztof Penderecki Festival in Warsaw (2013), International Kaposvár Chamber Music Festival in Hungary (2013), Music in Old Cracow Frestival (2012).
The artist had the honour of collaborating with conductors such as Tadeusz Strugała, Antoni Wit, Krzysztof Penderecki, Jerzy Maksymiuk, Marek Pijarowski, Michał Dworzyński, Andrés Mustonen, Yan Pascal Tortelier, Yang Yang, Stanisław Krawczyński and many others. She participated, among others, in Maxim Vengerov's master classes.
Aleksandra Kuls has received numerous scholarships and rewards for her artistic activities, including the "Paszport Polityka 2011" award in the classical music category, an award and scholarship from the Minister of Culture and National Heritage (2011, 2012), a scholarship from the Minister of Science and Higher Education (2012), Młoda Polska scholarship for the production of a debut album (2013) and others.
The violinist has a rich discography: she recorded two albums for the DUX company (in a duet with Justyna Danczowska and with works for solo violin. The solo album was nominated for the "Fryderyk" award); and also recorded works that rarely appear in concert programs: Violin Concerto by Ignacy Waghalter (together with the Sinfonia Varsovia orchestra conducted by Andres Mustonen), violin works by Giorgy Catoire (in a duet with J. Danczowska for Sarton Records), Polish Rhapsody by Stefan Poradowski ( with the Polish Radio Orchestra in Warsaw, conducted by Paweł Przytocki), Offertorium by Sofia Gubaidulina (live DVD recording of the Concert at the Castle in Pieskowa Skała, CORda Cracovia orchestra, conducted by Marek Moś), Polish Rhapsody for violin and orchestra by Stefan Poradowski (recording for Polski Radio, Polish Radio Orchestra, conducted by Paweł Przytocki). In 2023, the NAXOS album premiered, on which Aleksandra Kuls recorded Krzysztof Penderecki's Concerto doppio in a duet with cellist Hayoung Choi (accompanied by the Norrköping Symfoniorkester and conductor Antoni Wit).
