Policy analyst in the Centre for Eastern Studies, Head of the Eastern Partnership Department. He is also editor-in-chief of the EaPCommunity website, which is dedicated to the EU-eastern neighbours relations. He received his M.A. in the Centre for East European Studies at Warsaw University. He also studied Cultural Anthropology in the Institute of Ethnology and Cultural Anthropology at Warsaw University. He joined Centre for Eastern Studies in 2001.

Young Czech street-artist and comics author. Her comics often deal with people who lack their voice in mainstream media - prostitutes, junkies, squatters, illegal immigrants. She studied interactive media and stage design and exhibited in various spaces, for example at Prague´s Biennale of Young Artists in 2010. She also creates and organizes her own theater performances. In 2010 she painted a large-scale graffiti comics on the wall of the Cross Club in Prague. She is a part of the Czech anarchist scene and lives in Prague.

As voivodeship management officer was responsible for creation and implementation of the Governmental Strategic Programme for the Oswiecim (Auschwitz) Area and Strategy of Malopolska Viovodeship for years 2007-2013.  Marshall of the Malopolska Region since 2010. President of Monitoring Commission for European Funds in Union of the Voivodeships of the Republic of Poland and  member of Malopolska Innovation Council.

Deputy Chief of Mission at the Embassy of the Czech Republic to Poland. Graduated in 1996 from the Faculty of Philosophy and Arts at Charles University in Prague (B.A. in History), in 1999 graduated from the Faculty of Social Sciences at Charles University in Prague (M.A. in German Studies). In years 1997/1998 he did the Bundestag Internship Program. In 1998 was at Fridrich Wilhelms University in Bonn. In 1999 worked within an Internship at the Office of the President of the Czech Republic and from 1999 has been working at the Czech MFA.

Graduated from Sociology at the University of Oslo (1965-66), social anthropology at the University of Bergen (1967-68) and Arabic at the American University in Cairo (1968-69). Visiting professor at a number of universities across the world, among them Harvard University, USA; Beersheba University, Israel; L´école des hautes études en sciences sociales (EHESS), Paris; and London School of Economics (LSE). She has conducted field work in Egypt, Oman, Yemen, Indonesia, Bhutan and the Nordic countries. In 2004 awarded with the prestigious Norwegian Fritt Ord Award.
