Professor at the Department of Gender Studies at Central European University in Budapest, Hungary,  Doctor of Science of Hungarian Academy of Sciences. She has edited fifteen volumes in English, seven volumes in Hungarian and two in Russian. Her works have appeared in 15 different languages. She has also been a guest professor at the universities of Toronto, Buenos Aires, Novi Sad, Stockholm and Frankfurt.

Since 2015 Member of the Office of Malopolska Voivodship. Member of the Commission on Education, Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Commission on Culture, the Commission on Regional Development, Promotion and Foreign Cooperation, and the Statutory Legal Commission. Studied political science at the Jagiellionian University. Worked as as lecturer at the Silesian University of Technology (Gliwice), as project manager for the Foundation MCRD, for the Institute of Public Affairs and for the Institute of Strategic Studies.

He pursues his PhD in International Relations and European Studies at the Institute of International Relations and the Metropolitan University Prague. He also reads for PhD at the department of the European Law of the Law School at the Charles University in Prague, where he graduated summa cum laude his master degree in Law and legal science in 2005. He studied in Sweden at Jönköping International Business School under the Socrates-Erasmus programme. In 2011, he graduated with distinction his second master programme in Anglophone studies at the Metropolitan University Prague.
