He holds PhD from the Akademia Górniczo-Hutnicza and D.Sc. degree (habilitation) of the Polska Akademia Nauk in the field of geochemistry, mineralogy and sedimentology. In 1990-1991 and 1994-1998 Deputy Mayor of Kraków, responsible for strategic and physical planning, economic development, capital investment projects, debt financing of urban development and culture. In 1998-1999 Director of Villa Decius Association, of which he is still a member of board. 1999-2000 Director and member of the Board of Tishman Speyer Properties Polska, later Senior Advisor for Tishman Speyer Properties. Now a co-owmer and president of board of  Aspen.

Elżbieta Lęcznarowicz

Elżbieta Lęcznarowicz

Deputy Mayor of the City of Krakow. Graduated from the Geography and Biology Department of Pedagogical Academy in Krakow. Completed post-graduate studies on: Organization of Self-Government Education Management, Environment Protection and Formation. She has worked as, among others: methodologist for executives' affairs, inspector of schools at the Education Office, Personnel Department Manager at the Education Office, Director of various education establishments, and from 1994 through 2003 - Director of Zespół Szkół Ekonomicznych nr 1 (Economic Schools Complex No 1) in Krakow. From 2003 through 2006, she was the Chief Education Officer for the Małopolska Region. 

Olga Maksymenko

She is public relations professional and career and life coach, author of LIFE STYLIST project. Holds MA in Sociology from Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University, MA in Political Science from Central European University (Hungary) and Advanced Certificate in PR from Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR, UK). She has extensive experience in public relations, worked for business, NGO sectors and diplomatic representations, including EU Delegation to Ukraine and British Embassy to Ukraine. As a certified life and career coach, she helps recent graduates and young professionals who are already part of the working world to identify the career they desire and deserve and to navigate the transition towards it.

Gusztáv Nemes

Research fellow in the Institute of Economics at the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (agricultural and rural policy group). 1996-1997 visiting researcher at the Centre for the Study of Democracy in the Institute of Westminster, London. Main fields of interest: recent economic and social transition in Hungary, changes of labour market, small-scale agriculture and the coping strategies of former industrial commuters in disadvantaged rural areas.

Since 2007 a Senator of the 7th cadence. Former Marshall of the Malopolska Region. Member of associations such as: Polish Townplanners Association, Polish Architects Assiociation, the Social Committee of Krakow Monuments Rehabilitation. Chairman of the Voivodship Uran-Architectural Committee. Graduated at Krakow Technical Academy (Faculty of Architecture). Author of a number of publications in Polish as well as in English and German, concerning architecture and urban studies. Entitled for national architectural designing (1989) and town planning designing (1990).

Rafał Serafin

Graduated form the University of East Anglia in England, the University of Toronto and the University of Waterloo in Canada. Since 1990 he has worked in Krakow; one of the founders and the first director of the Cracow Forum for Development – a partnership initiative launched in 1995 by business, university and local government leaders, and social organizations for the development of Krakow. Since 1996 he has been Head of the Polish Environmental Partnership Foundation board – an independent and self-governing foundation, which supports sustainable development at the local level. He cooperates with The Prince of Wales International Business Forum and University of Cambridge. Lecturer at the Tischner European University in Cracow.  

Marek Sowa

Graduated from Krakow AGH University of Science and Technology. Active in local government since 1994 working as soltis and councilman. As voivodeship management officer was responsible for creation and implementation of the Governmental Strategic Programme for the Oswiecim (Auschwitz) Area and Strategy of Malopolska Viovodeship for years 2007-2013.  Marshall of the Malopolska Region since 2010. President of Monitoring Commission for European Funds in Union of the Voivodeships of the Republic of Poland and  member of Malopolska Innovation Council.  Initiated founding of Malopolska Center of Entrepreneurship and Center Business in Malopolska (CEBiM). Involved in organisation of  Economic Forum in Krynica.
