A freelance photographer, founder of the Machina Fotografika Foundation, she promotes people who work in photography, supports the creative development of women and performs educational activities in visual arts. A graduate of Cultural Studies at the Adam Mickiewicz University of Poznań and Creative Photography in Opava (Czech Republic), with a diploma in Dita Pepe’s seminar. She exhibits both in Poland and abroad. She publishes in newspapers: Polityka weekly, Wysokie Obcasy magazine, Tygodnik Powszechny weekly, as well as in books. She strives to make fashion a tool for the promotion of important social, artistic and cultural events and she attains this goal in “artfashion” photo sessions. She has also completed coach training organized by NGO Trainers’ Association STOP, currently participant in the Leaders Program of The Polish-American Freedom Foundation. She works on project „440 km”, which aims to support women’s development with physical disabilities and make them more visible in public space.

He worked with the Financial Times as its Warsaw Correspondent from 1976 to 2000 and later published Unia & Polska, a magazine devoted to EU issues. Kazimierz Bujakowski
Mr. Bujakowski completed a Masters in Geodesy and Cartography, while he also holds a Ph.D. in Technical Sciences. During the period between 1997-2001 he finished Postgraduate studies in Business Administration at the Business and Management School of the Economic Academy in Krakow. Deputy Mayor of the City of Krakow since 2004, he is currently in charge of spatial development of the city.
Karolina Czerska
PhD researcher at the Institute of European Studies, Jagiellonian University in Krakow. Her PhD research focus is on integration policies of (im)migrants in the EU countries, and specifically the issue of cultural and language testing of immigrants. She has a strong interest in the policies of multiculturalism (Canada & particular EU states), as well as national identity and citizenship. She finished her BA degree in International Relations in Calgary, Canada and went on to do a joint MA in Poland and Italy in the area of European Cultural Studies. She helps to coordinate an Erasmus Mundus Masters course, MA in Euroculture, which brings together 8 European universities and third-country students. She has studied and lived in Canada, France, Poland and Italy.

Director and scriptwriter. Lecturing at Institute of Audiovisual Arts at Jagiellonian University in Krakow. Graduated in film studies and cinema direction. The author of many documentaries, television theatre plays, television features and screenplays. Awarded in many international film festivals.
Martin Ehl
PhD at Charles University, Prague in Political Science, recipient of numerous fellowships and professional courses in the U.S., Poland, Hungary, Belgium, Italy and Slovenia. In 1999 he was a research fellow at Institute of International Relations, Prague, between 2001-2006 lecturer at University of West Bohemia Pilsen teaching global issues. Since 2001, a reporter for the Czech economic daily Hospodářské noviny, and since 2006 the head of the foreign desk. Previously, he worked in various Czech written media outlets, incl. TV and radio. He has published articles in the Serbian, Slovak and Polish press. His main areas of expertise include: Central Europe, Balkans, security policy, transatlantic relations, globalization, Latin America and Spain. From 2009 onwards, lecturerin Central and Eastern European Political Systems at the Metropolitan University in Prague. Author of a book A Third Decade: about the Life, Politics and People between Brussels and Gazprom.
Kristóf Forrai
Executive Director of the International Visegrad Fund from 2006. In 1982 graduated from the University of Economics in Budapest. In 1989 he obtained his second Master of International Affairs at Colombia University, New York, USA. He joined the Foreign Service after the collapse of the totalitarian regime as First Secretary on the Embassy of Hungary in Washington, D.C. (1990-1993). 1993 – 1997 he worked as Head of Department for the Government Office for Hungarian Minorities Abroad. In 1998 he became Head of the Department for Regional Cooperation in the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and at the same time Hungarian representative at the Danube Commission. Before being nominated V4 National Coordinator during the Hungarian Presidency (2005-2006) he worked for four years as Ambassador at the Hungarian Embassy in Prague.
Andrej Gál
Graduated from VŠMU Bratislava. He participated in several international courses and competitions (e.g. under R. Wallfisch). Since 1999 Andrej Gál has performed several times the first cello in the Internationale Orchesterakademie in Germany and also within the festival orchestra at Summer Arts in Idyllwild in California. Since 2001 he has been a member of the Bohdan Warchal Slovak Chamber Music Orchestra and the Zwiebel Quartet. Andrej Gál performs chamber music and interprets contemporary Slovak and international music.

Dr Paul Gillespie is Foreign Policy Editor and a duty editor of The Irish Times. He works in the editor's office of the newspaper as an editorial writer and columnist on international affairs. He has special expertise and interest in European politics and political identities, British-Irish relations, transatlantic relations, Middle East affairs and East Asian affairs. He lectures at the School of Politics and International Relations, University College Dublin and is a member of the advisory council of the European Policy Centre, Brussels.
