Tadeusz Kantor's Theatre of Death (2000).

Ambassador of Republic of Poland to Ukraine and former director of the Polish-Ukrainian Cooperation Foundation (PAUCI) which manages the trans-border projects with Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia and Armenia. Previously program director for ZNAK Foundation in Krakow and the editor of “Tygodnik Powszechny”. As a journalist, he covered the Romanian Revolution and war in the former Yugoslavia. Author of two documentary books on the Balkans and a novel Scent of the Angel which is based on his work experience in the Balkans and Eastern Europe.

Her major concerns are the 20th century Polish poetry and modernistic prose. M.A. in film studies obtained by an analysis of Sally Potter’s works. Her interests concern the ontology and pathology of literary and cinematic image – tracing the distortions of artistic conventions.

Among his translations there are: poetry of Jehuda Amichaj: The end of orange season (Koniec sezonu pomarańczy), poetic prose of Amos Oz: The same sea (To samo morze), prose of Chaim Beera Dawid Grossman, Mira Magen, Orli Kastel-Blum, poems of contemporary Israeli poets. Since 1990 has published in newspapers and magazines (i.a. Zeszyty Literackie, Kwartalnik Artystyczny).
